Brief
History -
Hi,
I'm
Cara and I began my music adventure at a very young age; having tried
my hand at playing a multitude of instruments and styles before finally
finding and realising what made me fall in love with music, singing and
piano.
I believe in letting students choose the direction that they wish to take
with their music education; whether that means they would like to begin
preparing for AMEB exams or if they would like to take lessons for the
pure enjoyment. I love to helping students on their discovery of music
and the joy it brings.
With
my passion for teaching voice and piano, I’m dedicated to nurturing
young talents and fostering a real love for music in every student. I
am currently studying Contemporary Music Practice at the Sydney Conservatorium
of Music and I have been trained in a variety of different vocal genres
from my years as a part of the Victorian Opera’s Youth Ensemble
and performing in Jazz Clubs whilst honing my songwriting and production
abilities. I am happy to get beginner piano students started and am comfortable
taking them up to around grade 3-4.
I
specialise in teaching younger children though am comfortable with any
age student, and in my lessons my priority is to create a dynamic learning
environment, encouraging creativity and an exploring each student’s
unique musical voice.
